At the end of the Summer in 1966 Carmen received an invitation to work at the Atelier Nord, a printmakers studio in Oslo, Norway. Funded by a local shipping magnat who supported the arts, Klaus Klaveness, Carmen arrived in the freezing winter. The first thing she did was buy snow boots and warm hats, then off to brighten things up at the studio.
